Lately, Melanie has begun to look at Ethan as more than her coach. In fact, she has become determined to do whatever she needs to in order to have one night with Ethan. Ethan has a policy that he will never date or have any type of relationship with his students.

As Melanie sets her plan in motion, she begins to see a different side to Ethan and she is more interested in learning about who he is as a man, not as her coach. She is enjoying seeing him as her friend first and foremost. When Ethan realizes how Melanie feels he has a hard time dealing with the coach vs man issue in regard to dating, especially in regard to Melanie. He values her as a student, a person and as a friend. But he also realizes he truly cares about her, as well. He doesn't want to ruin her career or his. But he also knows how deeply they care about one another and where their relationship is heading.

Chantel Rhondeau has written a wonderful and sweet romance filled with competition, family struggles, love, devastation, friendship, and a HEA ending.

The characters are strong individuals who have dreams and goals but also have real lives outside of tennis. They are well defined and easy to relate to.

The author uses tennis as her background story. She utilizes the training and competition of the sport to enhance character and story line development and does so with great clarity and ease.

Chantel Rhondeau has written an engaging, and heartwarming novella that is sure to please readers new to her writing and those who have been longtime fans.
In this book Melanie is a tennis star and Ethan is her coach. Ethan strongly believes that coaches should not have dating relationships with their students but they can't seem to keep their hands off each other. There are several questions to answer. Can Melanie win his love? Can Melanie still win tennis championships when he is such a distraction? Will her parents put up a roadblock to their love since they want nothing to interfere with her tennis goals? There are surprises and events which lead to their HEA. This book was fun to read. I'm sure readers will also enjoy it.
I enjoy reading novels with forbidden love interests like this. It's a story of finding love where you don't expect it and where some may say you shouldn't! This is a sweet love story in an easy read novel that will leave you smiling.
I read this as part of the Hotshot Desire Love After Dark Box Set. This was a sexy quick read about Melanie, a tennis player and Ethan, a former tennis pro, who due to a car accident cannot play anymore, so turned to coaching Melanie. Despite the rules, they fall in love and the sexy times begin. There are some sweet, tender moments between them, when Ethan talks about his past. I enjoyed this book and you will too. In fact, all the books I've read by Chantel have been great.

Ethan Patterson has rules in place that he never gets involved with someone he is coaching but he is very attracted to Melanie and is having a hard time with his own rules. His own dreams of playing tennis were destroyed when he was in a car accident and so he holds on very tightly to his coaching business.

When Ethan learns that there is more to Melanie than just money they realize they both have feelings for each other and start a "secret relationship". Yet when this secret gets out there are ramifications far beyond what either one thought possible.

I loved the relationship between the two of them - innocent yet hot! Both have fears and insecurities yet together they were awesome!
This is a cute story about a professional tennis player and her coach. It's not what it seems though, because in this story, Melanie, the tennis player is the one who is chasing after Ethan, her coach.

Ethan has ethics and wants to keep things strictly business, especially since Melanie's wealthy parents are paying his bills. But the attraction is too strong and one thing leads to another.

What I like about this story is Ethan's backstory, his career ending injury and the grief he is working through for his mother. All of this softens Ethan and one can't blame him when Melanie finally busts through his defenses--well, except her parents are none too happy.

Melanie is a determined heroine and she and her playing partner, Kelly, have a competitive yet easygoing friendship. I really loved the interplay between Kelly and Melanie as well as the way Kelly teases Melanie about Ethan.
This book was great. I couldn't put it down until I finished it. Can't wait to read more from this Author.
